A Well-Architected Framework of Six Pillars

How Rivoltech thinks about running a manufacturing business responsibly-as an operating model, not a statement.

Our Approach

Efficiencies come from proactively transforming how we work

Rivoltech organises its sustainability commitments into six pillars. They cover how components are made, how the plants consume power, how the business is governed and how it connects to the communities around its sites.

The Pithampur unit holds ISO 14001:2015 certification for its environmental management system, covering the manufacturing of metallic components and assemblies for automotive application.

The Six Pillars

What Each One Means in Practice

PILLAR 01

Sustainable Manufacturing

Building quality in rather than inspecting it out-statistical process control, 5S discipline on every shop floor, and process innovation aimed at cutting scrap and rework before material is committed.

PILLAR 02

Societal Connect

Employing around 550 people across Pirangut, Pithampur and Talegaon, and investing in the skills of the operators and engineers who run the plants.

PILLAR 03

Corporate Governance

Certified management systems audited by TÜV SÜD-ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 at Pirangut, ISO 14001:2015 and IATF 16949 at Pithampur-with customer-approved sourcing for all material inputs.

Machining bays running at the Talegaon plant with work staged between them
PILLAR 04

Saving Power

Reducing energy per component through machine utilisation, load planning and process consolidation-and, with the Dewas forging unit, shortening the supply chain between forging and finish machining.

PILLAR 05

Caring for Mother Earth

Environmental management under ISO 14001:2015, covering waste, coolant and effluent handling across the machining operations. Plans include bringing mobile pyrolysis recycling systems to India through our German joint venture.

PILLAR 06

Digitalisation

Coordinate measuring machines, end-of-line testers and leak-test stations feeding measured data back into process control-plus AGV automation delivered with our German partner for an OEM bus assembly line in India.
